MIKROE-2336 is a CC3100 Click compact add-on board that sends and receives data over Wi-Fi. This board features the CC3100, a Wi-Fi 802.11b/g SimpleLink™ series network processor from Texas Instruments. The TI’s SimpleLink™ is a platform with industry-leading features, including low power and robustness, and integrates security support with more than ten differentiated wired and wireless protocols. The CC3000 comes with an embedded IPv4 TCP/IP stack and is a complete platform solution with high TX power and RX sensitivity, which makes it one of the best-in-class radio performances. This Click board™ is suitable for industrial wireless control, smart home applications, and adding simple wireless communication capabilities to your design.
