The TLE4266G is a fixed low-drop Voltage Regulator for use in automotive electronics. The IC can be switched-OFF via the inhibit input which causes the current consumption to drop below 10µA. The IC is short-circuit-proof and incorporates a temperature protection which turns-OFF the IC at over-temperature. The input capacitor is necessary for compensating line influences. The oscillating of input line inductivity and input capacitance can be clamped. The output capacitor is necessary for the stability of the regulating circuit.
