The NCP186AMX330TAG is a fast transient response CMOS low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator with active discharge in 8 pin XDFN package. This very Low dropout regulator provides up to 1A of load current and maintains excellent output voltage accuracy of 1% in -40°C to 85°C range. The operating input voltage range from 1.8V up to 5.5V makes this device suitable for Li-ion battery powered products as well as post regulation applications. The NCP186 is fully protected against overheating and output short circuit. The small XDFN package makes the device especially suitable for space constrained applications. It also features extended battery life and saves PCB space and system cost.
