MPQ4409 is a high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down switch-mode converter with built-in power MOSFETs. The MPQ4409 offers a very compact solution that achieves 900mA of continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation across a wide input supply range. The MPQ4409 uses synchronous mode operation for higher efficiency across the output current load range. Current mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Full protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown. The MPQ4409 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components. It is available in a space-saving QFN-13 (2.5mmx3mm) package. Typical applications include automotive infotainment, automotive clusters, automotive telematics and industrial power systems.
