Product Overview
ST730 is a 300mA LDO regulator. It is designed to be used in several medium voltage applications. Ultra-low quiescent current of 5μA makes it suitable for applications permanently connected to power supply/battery. This feature is also useful when electronic modules remain permanently turned on. It embeds protection functions, such as current limit, short-circuit and thermal shutdown. It is widely used in application such as post regulation, electronic meters, smoke detectors / alarms, portable equipment, industrial application etc.
- Operating input voltage range is 2.5V to 28V
- Quiescent current is 5μA typ at no-load, 10μA max across full temperature range, 1μA max in shutdown
- High output voltage accuracy is ± 0.5% at 25 °C, ± 2.5% across temperature range
- Output current upto 300mA, output voltage is 3.6V
- Fixed output voltage versions, starting from 1.2V to 12V with 100mV step
- Adjustable voltage version, starting from 1.2V to VIN - VDROP
- Stable with low ESR capacitors (0.47µF min)
- Thermal shutdown protection, current limit and SOA protection
- Operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C
- Packaging style is SOT23-5L
