63-1-A-24/3 is a 63 series high voltage dry reed relay with printed circuit board (PCB) mounting and push-on high voltage connections on the top face. It is designed for demanding high-voltage test and measurement applications such as cable/transformer test systems, high-voltage instrumentation, and other ATE where maintaining safe clearance and isolation is critical. The range offers up to 20kV stand-off and up to 12.5kV switching, with up to 50W high power switching capability, and uses tungsten-plated contacts for long, reliable life. Supplied with appropriate connectors and insulating boots, Series 63 provides a compact, practical way to implement repeatable High Voltage switching in test fixtures and systems.

High voltages, and stray capacitance can generate very high current pulses, which can damage the contact plating causing welding of the reed switch.
