Product Overview
NCP716MT33TBG is an ultra-low Iq, wide input voltage low dropout regulator. It is a very stable and accurate device with ultra-low ground current consumption (4.7A over the full output load range) and a wide input voltage range (up to 24V). The regulator incorporates several protection features such as thermal shutdown and current limiting. Typical applications include portable equipment and communication systems.
- 3.3V voltage, operating input voltage range from 4.0 to 24V (-40°C ≤ TJ ≤ 125°C)
- Thermal shutdown and current limit protection
- Output voltage accuracy is 3.0V typ (4.3V <lt/> VIN <lt/> 24V, 0 <lt/> IOUT <lt/> 80mA, TJ = +25°C)
- Turn-on time is 700µs typ (IOUT = 1mA, TJ = +25°C)
- Dropout voltage is 370mV typ (VDO = VIN – (VOUT(NOM) – 90mV) IOUT = 80mA)
- Ground current is 3.2µA typ (0 <lt/> IOUT <lt/> 80mA, -40 <lt/> TA <lt/> 85°C)
- Output noise voltage is 190µVrms typ (VOUT = 4.3V, IOUT = 80mA, f = 200Hz to 100KHz)
- Thermal shutdown temperature is 155°C typ (Temperature increasing from TJ = +25°C)
- Maximum output current is 110mA min (-40°C ≤ TJ ≤ 125°C)
- WDFN6 package, operating ambient temperature range from -40 to 125°C
