Product Overview
The MCP1700T-3302E/MB is a low quiescent current, CMOS low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator in 3 pin SOT-89 package. This regulator is an ideal choice for two and three primary cell battery powered applications and single cell Li-Ion powered applications. The output voltage tolerance of MCP1700T-3302E/MB is typically ±0.4% at 25°C and ±3% maximum over operating junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The LDO output is stable when using 1μF output capacitance. Ceramic, tantalum or aluminium electrolytic capacitors can be used for input and output. The MCP1700T-3302E/MB also permits high currents in small packages when operated with minimum VIN – VOUT differentials. The circuit also incorporates short circuit protection and over temperature protection to ensure maximum reliability.
