Product Overview
MD-ISK-I30-1000-P5-ANSI is an ANSI mineral insulated thermocouple with threaded pot. Flexible mineral insulated probe with Inconel® Alloy 600 sheath with M8 x 1.0mm fine pitch threaded pot seal & tails. Inconel® Alloy 600 provides excellent oxidation resistance to 1100°C (not suitable for sulphur bearing atmospheres above 550°C). Typical applications include heat treatment processes, annealing furnaces, chemical reactors, man -made fibre and synthetic material production, steam boilers and paper industry.
- Mineral insulated type K thermocouple
- Highly flexible, sheath can be bent/formed to suit many applications and processes
- Insulated hot junction, probe temperature range from -40°C to +1100°C
- M8 x 1.0mm fine pitch threaded pot seal (200°C)
- Termination is 100mm PFA twin twisted 7/0.2mm tails, colour coded in accordance with ANSI MC96.1
- Sensor type is type K(nickel chromium/nickel aluminium) to ANSI MC96.1
- Single element, junction insulated from sheath (protection against spurious electrical signals)
- Pot seal rating is 200°C
- 3mm probe diameter, 1000mm probe length
- Yellow positive tail wire and red negative tail wire
