BTG70901EPLXUMA1 is a BTG7090-1EPL PROFET™ +2 12V high-side smart power switch with advanced protection and diagnosis for automotive applications. The intelligent power devices (IPD) support capacity load charging, cranking, under voltage delay, and current sense feedback function. Potential applications includes replaces electromechanical relays, fuses and discrete circuits, protection of system supply, main switch for ECU power supply, suitable for driving resistive, inductive and capacitive loads, suitable for driving heating elements, suitable for driving ADAS and AD modules, e.g. cameras, radar, ultrasonic, and LIDAR modules, suitable for driving sub modules, e.g. displays, suitable for driving communication modules, e.g. antennas, Bluetooth, V2X, Wi-Fi.

• High-side switch with diagnosis and embedded protection, part of PROFET™ Load Guard family
• Switch ON capability while inverse current condition (InverseON), capacitive load switching mode
• Qualified for automotive applications, product validation according to AEC-Q100, grade 1
• Operating voltage is 3V to 28V, maximum current in sleep mode is 0.5µA (TJ ≤ 85°C)
• Typical ON-state resistance is 90mohm (TJ = 25°C), nominal load current is 2A (TA = 85°C)
• Typical current sense ratio is 1000 (at IL = IL(NOM))
• Adjustable overcurrent limitation range from 0.38 to 4.34A, overvoltage protection
• Proportional load current sense, open load in ON and OFF state, short circuit to ground and battery
• Absolute and dynamic temperature protection with restart control, adjustable overcurrent limitation
• PG-TSDSO-14 package, junction temperature range from -40 to +150°C
