AZ2117H-ADJTRG1

AZ2117H-ADJTRG1 is a low-dropout three-terminal regulator. It has been optimized for low voltage, where transient response and minimum input voltage are critical. It provides a current limit and thermal shutdown. Its circuit includes a trimmed bandgap reference to assure output voltage accuracy within ±1%. Onchip thermal shutdown provides protection against a combination of high current and ambient temperature that would create excessive junction temperature. Applications include USB devices, add-on card, DVD player, and PC motherboard.

• Maximum output current is 1.35A typ at 1.75V ≤ VIN-VOUT, TJ = +25°C
• Quiescent current is 0.35mA typ at IOUT = 0, TJ = +25°C
• Power supply rejection ratio is 60dB typ at f = 120Hz, ripple 1.0 Vp-p, VIN = VOUT+2V, IOUT = 100mA
• Output voltage temperature coefficient is ±100ppm/°C at IOUT = 30mA
• RMS output noise is 0.003% typ at 10Hz ≤ f ≤ 100kHz, no load
• SOT223 package
• Operating junction temperature range from -40 to 125°C
