67-1-A-5/2D

67-1-A-5/2D is a 67 series high voltage dry reed relay. It is small size and encapsulated in plastic package with internal mu-metal magnetic screen. It is constructed by using a lead frame in a Single-in-Line format and features former-less coils which enable a smaller package. The unusual package style allows interesting stacking possibilities when used to construct high density multiplexers or matrices.

Notes

High voltages and stray capacitance can generate very high current pulses, which can damage the contact plating causing welding of the reed switch.
