Product Overview
NORPS-12 is a 1Mohm dark resistance light dependent resistor (LDR) CdS photocell. It is a light dependent resistor with sensitivity in the visible light region. The CdS photoresistor photocell is mounted on a 2-pin ceramic encapsulated in a moisture-resistant coating and enclosed in a plastic casing. It is a photoresistor cell for visible light measurement designed to sense light from 400 to 700nm. Its resistance decreases as the light level increases, with efficiency characteristics similar to the human eye. Typical applications include camera exposure, shutter controls, night light controls, audio compressors, solar street lights and flame detection.
