Product Overview
A000067 Arduino® Mega 2560 Rev3 is an exemplary development board dedicated to building extensive applications, as compared to other maker boards by Arduino. The board accommodates the ATmega2560 microcontroller, which operates at a frequency of 16MHz. The board contains 54 digital input/output pins, 16 analogue inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. Typical applications include 3D printing, robotics, and maker.
- ATmega2560 processor: up to 16 MIPS throughput at 16MHz, 4k bytes EEPROM
- 256kbytes (of which 8k is used for the bootloader), 8kbytes Internal SRAM
- 32 × 8 general-purpose working registers, real-time counter with separate oscillator
- Four 8-bit PWM channels, four programmable serial USART, controller/peripheral SPI serial interface
- ATmega16U2: USART with SPI host only mode and hardware flow control (RTS/CTS)
- USB connection, external AC/DC adapter
- Input voltage from VIN pad / DC jack: 7 to 12V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
Warnings
The recommended range from 7V to 12V, if using more than 12V, the voltage regulator may overheat and damage the board.
