Product Overview
The 3811-40003 from SV Microwave - Amphenol is a SMPS (FD) male edge launch connector. The SMPS connector utilizes the same great features of the SMP and SMPM connector series in an even smaller package. The SMPS series is ideal in applications where density is importance. Typical applications include aerospace, military, board to board, board edge mount to backplane, high frequency inside the box cable assemblies and high density multiport connectors and blocks.
- Blindmate / push on design (RFfortless®)
- 45% smaller than the SMP, 30% smaller then the SMPM
- Frequency range from DC to 100GHz
- Impedance is 50 ohm, shielding effectiveness is ≥ -80dB, dielectric withstanding voltage is 250VRMS
- Mechanical mating cycles is 500 (smooth bore)
- Stainless steel press sleeve
- Beryllium copper with gold finish body and contact
- PTFE insulator
- Temperature range from -65°C to +165°C
