Product Overview
The 215079-8 is a 8-position 2-row top-entry vertical Female-on-Board Connector with tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts and a red glass-filled polyester housing. This shrouded connector version incorporates the patented Micro-MaTch contact spring system and is designed to be soldered onto PC boards with a nominal thickness of 1.6mm. The solder legs are indented, providing firm retention of the connector before and during the soldering operations.
